Perinatal Psychiatric Assistance Line (PAL)
Prairie Care has collaborated with PPSM to offer specialized consultation regarding Perinatal Psychiatry as part of their PAL line:
The Psychiatric Assistance Line (PAL) is a free service available to health professionals every Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Any healthcare provider can call for mental health triage and referral, or for a consultation with a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist regarding a patient. This is a free service provided by PrairieCare Medical Group through a grant from DHS.
PAL/PPSM Mental Health Training and Psychopharmacology Education for Primary Care
8 elective credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Pregnancy Postpartum Support Minnesota (PPSM) has teamed up with the PAL team to provide CME-approved training's for primary care providers and healthcare professionals that are focused on mental health assessment and treatments. Each training is a full day and limited to 30 attendees.
