Sleep & Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders
April 20, 2022 | 9:00 am - 11:00 am
| Free – $50.00A quarter of adults live with some kind of sleep disturbance, and during the peripartum period, this number increases. Hypnotic, or sleep-inducing, medications only help so much, and may result in daytime drowsiness, or a general feeling of being drugged or groggy. Dealing with sleep issues is a life-long journey and therefore requires a toolbox of tools to re-establish good sleeping patterns. In this training session, Michele will discuss both allopathic and mind-body perspectives on sleep management.
Presenter: Michele Anderson, DNP, APRN, PMH-C
