“Imagine how much brighter every new Mother could shine…if she received as much love,  care, and emotional support….as that of her newborn baby.” ~ Wendy Gilroy

Interest Statement:

I wish every family was surrounded by a strong circle of support during the fourth trimester. With COVID, families can feel more isolated during an already overwhelming and isolating time.  I have a calling to walk with families during the intimate and tender adjustment to parenthood, helping them land in their new roles as softly as possible. At the heart of my work is a deep desire to listen and offer non-judgemental support, encouraging one to trust their intuition.

I have completed an Ayurvedic Postpartum Caregiver Program and incorporate these principles in antenatal care and for the first forty days (and beyond) with new families. I  am passionate about educating families and preparing in advance for the fourth trimester, so  families are equipped with the knowledge and resources for a thriving postpartum. I enjoy preparing nourishing meals and snacks along with warm teas and herbal support. I am left in awe of the families I serve and feel honored to be a part of each story.

Training:

About My Work:

I am a keen listener and check in often with the families about their mental health. I  enjoy working with older children as they adjust to their new sibling(s). I have an ability to create a supportive and empowering environment for families as they transition to parenthood .
